Elite Tents are looking for a fabulous ‘New Business Coordinator’ to join our team and help our lovely customers create truly memorable events for their special occasion. So, if you are an enthusiastic and friendly person with excellent organisational capabilities and an ability to multi task then this job is made for you.
The role is mainly sales based, using soft selling through developing customer relationships (no cold calling!). You will be working with our fabulous Marketing team responding to enquiries and contacting leads to help them plan their outdoor event.
This will involve creating client quotes from email and telephone enquiries, building relationships with prospective customers and helping them with their enquiry providing an outstanding customer service. You will create quotes, then follow these up together with questions, via email, phone calls and texts.
You will create floorplans and quote for sub-contracted items from our team of suppliers.
You will also support the general office team with some office duties and after sales customer care.
You will speak to a wide variety of people from brides and their families, through to high end event coordinators.
This is a very enjoyable job – helping people to create their perfect day or event.
You will be the first point of contact for clients, and will need to ensure they receive excellent customer service and efficient delivery of information throughout their experience. You will love our tents, tipis and sailcloth alike and have a real enthusiasm for the weddings and parties to help ensure that they will be an amazing experience for our clients and their guests.
You will need to…
Have proven customer service experience
Have a proven background in sales
Have an excellent telephone manor
Have exceptional administration skills and be able to multi-task
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Have a keen eye for detail
Have an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft programs (including PowerPoint) and very good all round computer skills.
Have an ability to learn in-house IT systems quickly
Have a lively and enthusiastic personality
Be prepared to work some weekends and additional hours where required.
28 hours made up of a two-week cycle of sessions which will include a fortnightly late night (till 7.00pm) and a Saturday morning. (9-1.30pm)
Full day sessions 9am-5pm with half hour lunch break.
Salary & benefits:
This post will be a permanent contract following a probationary period of 3 months.
There will be a 2 weeks’ notice period should you wish to leave during the 3 months and a month’s notice once in the full contract.
28 days holiday pro-rata (we use the gov.co.uk site to calculate this)
£18,525 – £21,450 (pro-rata) dependent on experience
Pension in line with company policy.
It would be an advantage if you hold a driving license, but it is not essential for the right candidate.
