At Elite Tents we understand how important and huge a decision it is to book tents for your wedding or party. We also understand that the cost of the tents is a significant one and under usual circumstances you would want to come and see the tents and the team at an open day before committing to a contract.
Unfortunately the very unusual situation we are all living in as a result of COVID-19 means that having open days at present is impossible… but if you are planning your wedding while you are at home in lockdown that doesn’t really help you.
So we have put together some Lockdown offers and guarantees to help put your mind at rest:
Low cost deposits:
We usual ask for a 50% deposit when you book the tents but whilst we are in lockdown we are happy to accept a £500 deposit together with a signed booking form to hold all your tents and equipment for you until things get back to normal and you can visit our open day later in the year. (You would need to pay the rest of the deposit within one week of attending that open day).
We understand too, that for many people, money and jobs are uncertain at the moment so the option of paying for your wedding over the next 12 to 18 months in smaller regular monthly payments could be an attractive option. Each of the packages on our Pricing Page can be paid with an initial deposit of £ 250 and further instalments starting at £399 per month.
Paying on Credit Card:
For those of you concerned about paying large sums of money when potentially it will be hard to get wedding insurance, we have now introduced the option of making payment via Credit Card just to give you peace of mind.
NHS workers’ Offer:
If you are on the front-line for the NHS we at Elite Tents would love to do our bit to help make your special event even more special as a thank you for all of your wonderful work. We would therefore love to offer you a Nimbus 16 ‘Little Hat’ (worth £325) to add free of charge to your Tipi or Sailcloth Package for all new 2021 bookings .*
*Proof of your employment required.
- If you book the tents whilst we are in Lockdown, but when we come and check your site at a subsequent site visit we find it is unsuitable, we will refund you in full.
- If when you come to the open day you prefer a different set up or furnishings we will of course change your contract to suit your requirements (subject to availability of tents and equipment).
- If you come to the open day and really feel that our tipis or sailcloth tent is not for you then we will refund your deposit.
Spring Open Day – Saturday 28th March is now POSTPONED
In truth I do not believe that our open day would cause an issue in the spreading of COVID-19; our attendance numbers are well below the outdoor event level that the government has mentioned as possibly banning, however we are also aware that guidelines suggest there should be no unnecessary travel and social gatherings. Our open day falls into the latter category.
We are therefore going to postpone our March Open Day.
We are aware that we still have lots of people who will want to see both the tipis and the sailcloth tent so as soon as things settle down and we have a new date we will let you know.
